I do have a problem with men that continue to act like children because the world is too hard. I never say that acting like a man means getting married.Booch Paradisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14620432665206273916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2655933775536213118.post-49090582987251266782012-05-22T04:19:05.049-07:002012-05-22T04:19:05.049-07:00So unless a man has a wife and children, he is a m...So unless a man has a wife and children, he is a man-child? Sorry, bud, but this world has enough people already. I know your god orders you to reproduce, but my logic tells me to do otherwise.

Perhaps men aren't marrying due to divorce rates, no-fault divorce laws, gender bias against men in family/divorce courts, and the fact that around 75% of divorces are initiated by women; the majority of which are no-fault divorces. I'm no mathematical genius, but I wouldn't gamble with those odds.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2655933775536213118.post-64408147891113971062012-05-06T09:17:59.858-07:002012-05-06T09:17:59.858-07:00The way I've seen the term "shaming langu...The way I've seen the term "shaming language" used has a much broader scope than that. As it is used in many a discussion thread, any time anyone suggests that a thought, idea, or action is not manly, they are accused of shaming language. It could be that the accusers are using the term wrong, but I don't often see them called out on it.Booch Paradisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14620432665206273916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2655933775536213118.post-88028753804951851142012-05-06T08:41:01.149-07:002012-05-06T08:41:01.149-07:00You don't seem to get shaming language. Shamin...You don't seem to get shaming language. Shaming language is and ad-hominem attack to dismiss argument. Something like "What you are saying is wrong because you are a loser". So, instead of using arguments to disprove points, you use emotional attacks to shut up debate . Moreover, refusing to differentiate between those who are merely bachelors and those who are 40, but acting like 25 year olds, does a disservice to those who need to grow up. "Wow, this is a crappy apartment. But you get to go out to the same dive every night? That's still not awesome."Ulysseshttp://hiddenleaves.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
